At Crosthwaite we have the highest expectations for each of our children and we are proud of our recent outstanding academic results. The OFSTED inspection in October 2007 confirmed that the teaching and learning at Crosthwaite School is good throughout. We have been particularly successful in improving the performance of children who have struggled to cope within larger classes at larger schools.

We believe learning should be challenging, creative and fun and since our classes are small and friendly and taught by a team of highly experienced and dedicated teaching staff, we are able to provide a very personal and flexible approach to learning for every child.  We know each of our children inside out. Every child matters at Crosthwaite and excellence and enjoyment are the key to our happy school.

As a vital part of the main school, Crosthwaite Nursery provides morning places for children from age three.

We can provide care for pre-school children until 3.15pm and after school activities for school age children run until 5.15pm.
